LSU Players Enjoy Imitating Coach Orgeron

You can’t miss hearing LSU head coach Ed Orgeron at SEC media days.
That deep, booming, bayou accent. His players love imitating it.
Said receiver D.J. Chark:”If we are in a football setting, he’ll be like, Hey! Hey DJ! What’s my favorite play? I’m like uh, go deep coach. He’ll be like, Yeah! Go deep baby!” (chuckles)
Said defensive lineman Christian LaCouture:”He had a get-off sign when he was the defensive line coach. He’d come in and he’d be like, hey baby! Sack-fumble-baby! Let’s go! Hit the get-off sign! (laughs)
Said Orgeron:”I do appreciate it. I think it’s great humor. And I think it shows respect.”
