Portion of Gunbarrel Road closed for six weeks beginning Monday

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The city of Chattanooga reports the 2300 block of Gunbarrel Road, between Shallowford Road and McCutcheon Road will be closed for a road improvement project.

The closure begins Monday July 11, 2016.

The closure is scheduled for six weeks.

Detours will be posted using McCutcheon Road, Lifestyle Way and Elam Lane.

All property and emergency access will be maintained.
