CFC Get Asheville in ‘Blue Ridge Derby’ on Wednesday

The CFC enjoy a ‘Friendly at Finley’ Wednesday night against Asheville.
They’re calling it the ‘Blue Ridge Derby’, which is slated to become an annual event.
The idea for the match started when Asheville was forming their NPSL team, and they looked to the CFC for their soccer model.
Said CFC head coach Bill Elliott:”They had a really good first season. We’re trying to create a little bit of tradition and rivalry. Rolling forward with a friendly match on Wednesday night, and I think it should be exciting.”
The match gets underway at 7:30pm.
