Boyfriend charged with overnight murder on Cypress Street Court

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police have arrested the boyfriend of a woman who was shot to death in the early morning hours.

It happened around 1:30 AM in the 1200 block of Cypress Street Court near the College Hills Courts.

Police say 42 year old Katrina Holloway was dead when they arrived.

They learned that she was in a fight with her boyfriend before the shooting.

43 year old Reginald Oakley was questioned and taken into custody.

They charged him with Criminal Homicide, Possession of a Firearm during Commission of a Felony, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon (Felon).
