Transformation Begins to Turn Bristol Motorspeedway Into Football Stadium For Vols-Virginia Tech Game
The transformation is underway at the Bristol Motorspeedway.
Workers have begun turning the famous short track into a football field for the Vols-Virginia Tech game on September 10th.
Officials are a day behind on the project since the Saturday night Sprint Cup race at Bristol was pushed back to Sunday because of weather.
Once the transformation is complete, Bristol will house the largest attended college football game in history.
Over 150-thousand will be on hand to watch Tennessee play the Hokies.
Kickoff is set for 8 o’clock.
