CPD Investigating Shooting

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police responded to reports of a person shot at the 7200 block of Shallowford Road late last evening, finding a male, Alfred Coppage, 35, with a non-life-threatening gunshot injury to the hand. The victim was transported to a local hospital.

After a preliminary investigation, Officers concluded the incident did not occur on Shallowford Road and may not have taken place within Chattanooga’s city limits.

Investigators are attempting to identify the incident location and no credible suspect information has been provided.
