Firefighters to Host Food Drive

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — They may fight fires for a living, but this week they’re fighting hunger.

The Chattanooga Fire Department and Chattanooga Area Food Bank are teaming up for their 10th annual food drive.

Starting Monday through Sunday, you can donate non-perishable food items at any of the department’s 19 fire stations.

Firefighters will also be collecting both food and money on Monday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Food City at 7804 East Brainerd Road.
