Chattanooga Man Killed in Shooting
MARION COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — A Chattanooga man is dead after a shooting in Marion County.
Sheriff Bo Burnett tells News 12 it happened around 10:30 p.m., Friday, at a home in the 12,000 block of Mullins Cove Road.
Burnett says when deputies arrived, they found 32-year-old Matthew Keller dead on the front porch.
The homeowner reportedly told deputies Keller and a woman came up to his house.
The homeowner says a confrontation ensued, Keller rushed him, and then he shot Keller.
No charges have been filed against the homeowner at this time.
Sheriff Burnett says they did arrest the woman for trespassing, resisting arrest, and public intoxication.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has taken over the case.
