Tennessee Valley Adventures: Escape Room

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Just a couple nights ago I spent an hour.. escaping from prison.

Now that I have your attention… it’s time for Tennessee Valley Adventures.

This week we headed to Escape Experience Chattanooga to see if we could bust out of the big house.

Amy: An escape room is a room that they lock you in and you’ve got to solve puzzles to get out.

MK: We were basically put in jail and we were inmates and we had an hour to free ourselves.

Guy: We have arranged for you in C13 and C block should have everything to make your escape.

Jamal: So they put you in this room and you’be got an hour to figure out how to get out.

Amy: The fact that they handcuffed us together I did not expect that, numbers play a big role we actually had to do math to figure out the numbers to put in to get out of the room. I wasn’t expecting to do math, so I was really happy we found a calculator.

MK: You think you’ve found one answer, and that opens this but oh wait you still have to get here but to get here you have to unlock this. Its a big chain of puzzles to get out.

Jamal: I remember looking up and there is 12 minutes left, we need to move, we’ve got stuff to do.

Amy: At first we were kind of working together as a group, then the time started ticking by and we didn’t want to get stuck in the room so we split up.

MK: I liked it, honestly I kind of felt like I was in an episode of CSI or something. Overall I’d do it over in a heartbeat. Jamal: I loved it, i’d do them all.
