N.W. Whitfield beats LaFayette 30-7
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- Normally when you score 42 points in a game, that’s good enough for a victory.
But it wasn’t quite enough for Northwest Whitfield last week as they lost 48-42 to Ridgeland.
Tonight, the Bruins were looking to crank up their potent offense again as they entertained LaFayette in a region match-up.
It was homecoming in Bruins country and it doesnt matter who you are or your statard of victory when you get a running clock and you are ahead it is a good game.
Layfayette didn’t quit fighting Devin Duncan takes this hand off and makes his way down inside the 20 before getting chopped down.
A few plays later Colton Lane take a handoff up the middle to finish the drive in the endzone to put them on the board for the first time tonight, but that wouldnt put a damper on the Bruins homecoming activities as they rolled to a 30-to-7 win
