Small Plane Lands on Highway Median in Carroll County

CARROLLTON, Ga. (AP) – Police say a small plane with only the pilot aboard landed in the grass median of Georgia Highway 27 in Carroll County.

Carrollton police spokesman Capt. Chris Dobbs tells The Atlanta Journal-Constitution the plane ran out of gas Thursday morning while going to the Carrollton airport.

Dobbs said there were no injuries.
