Missing Gwinnett woman’s car found in ravine

DAHLONEGA, Ga. (AP) – A car belonging to a missing mother of three has been found crashed inside a ravine.

News outlets report that 36-year-old Tosha Herron of Gwinnett County has been missing since Oct. 7, when she was on her way to the north Georgia mountains.

Herron’s father, Keith Reed, found her crashed car Oct. 12 along Highway 129 in Lumpkin County. Herron, however, remains missing.

Lumpkin County authorities have said they aren’t yet sure what happened to Herron, but are following up on every lead.

Reed says the family received a tip she might be in Gainesville, so they are searching for her there.

Herron has two young children and an older son just returning from a year’s military tour in Africa.
