East Ridge find teen, investigate filing false report

EAST RIDGE, Tennessee (WDEF) – East Ridge Police have found a runaway 15 year old, unharmed, in Rhea County.

But they are investigating a friend of his with making a false report.

The teen told police that someone in a van kidnapped the missing boy and tried to kidnap him also.

But a couple of alleged witnesses gave different descriptions of the van.
