School Board picks Dr. Justin Robertson as new Superintendent
He was the in-house candidate in the Hamilton County School System
CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – After a bit of debate this evening, the Hamilton County School Board has made their decision on who the new superintendent will be.
They chose their own in-house candidate Dr. Justin Robertson with a 7-2 vote.
The board picked him over candidates from Birmingham and Las Vegas.
Dr. Robertson will follow Dr. Bryan Johnson who left this summer.
He should take over the school system on January first.
