North Shore rape suspect arrested

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Chattanooga Police Department announced that they have arrested Ronald Strickland.

He is charged in connection with a rape that happened on 11/11/2017 in the North Shore area.

Ronald B. Strickland is charged with rape and especially aggravated burglary.

Mr. Strickland has been booked into the Hamilton County Jail.

The incident was reported at 7:30 a.m. on 11/11/17.

Investigators say the victim reported she was sleeping when the assailant forced his way into the home through a window.
