Mocs Face Another Tough Mid Major Team in Murray State

The Chattanooga Mocs travel to face Murray State at eight o’clock on Saturday night. It’s UTC’s second straight road game against a tough mid-major opponent.

Chattanooga lost to Belmont on Wednesday, and now they get a Racers team that’s 9-1 on the year.

NBA star Ja Morant was on Murray State’s team just two years ago, so th

ey’re getting good players to say the least.

The Mocs will need a good effort on Saturday night.

Said head coach Lamont Paris:”I don’t think that there’s going to be a pity party in Kentucky for the Mocs coming thru there. They are going to try to stick it to us, so we’ll have to get ready.”
Said guard Malachi Smith:”yeah they are not going to feel sorry for us. They’re a great team. Like i said we have a target on our back. A lot of teams want to beat us. But this is what we asked for. What we worked for. Practiced for. I’m confident in how we are going to respond.”
