Macon County escapee added to Ten Most Wanted list

LAFAYETTE, Tennessee (WDEF) – A manhunt in upper east Tennessee this morning now includes the TBI.

The agency has posted one of 3 jail escapees on their ten most wanted list.

They are offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of Dylan Cecil Ferguson.

He and two other inmates escaped from the Macon County jail on Wednesday morning.

They may be traveling in a stolen F-250 pickup.

Ferguson was facing a Criminal Homicide charge for the death of a man last year.

Authorities consider the three escapees as armed and dangerous.

Macon County is northeast of Nashville near the Kentucky border.
