Police believe two Crossville homicides are related
CROSSVILLE, Tennessee (WDEF) – Cumberland County investigators have two fatal crimes on their hands.
But they have just one suspect.
It started when a resident found a body in a trash pile outside a home on Critter Creek Road around 6 PM Tuesday evening.
TBI agents are calling it a homicide.
Then four hours later, deputies got a call about a shooting on Vandever Road a few miles north near Lake Tansi.
The 911 caller said a person had shot three people there.
Deputies found two injured people and one fatality.
23 year old Makayla Manning was killed.
Deputies have arrested a suspect in both cases on Tuesday.
They are not giving a motive for the killings at this point or identifying the suspect.
