Dalton High School students arrested on drug charges

Dalton, Georgia (WDEF) — The Dalton Daily Citizen reports three Dalton High School students were arrested by Dalton Police on felony drug charges.

According to the newspaper, 18 year old John Shannon Reeves Jr. was charged with distribution of a schedule 2 drug and 18 year old Vinicio Vega-Herrera was charged with possession of a schedule 2 drug on Friday.

The Daily Citizen adds that 17 year old Rodney Maurice Melendrez  was also charged with possession of a schedule 2 drug on Monday.

Dalton High School administrators assisted in making the arrests at the school, according to the Daily Citizen.
