Chattanooga, Tenn. (WDEF) – Criminal Court Judge Tom Greenholtz delays hit and run sentencing against Valerie Bray until March 3.

Chattanooga, Tenn. (WDEF) – A Hamilton county criminal court judge is allowing testimony at this hour in the sentencing phase against Valerie Bray.

The 60 year old Chattanooga woman pleaded guilty in December to the hit and run death of jogger Cameron Bean.

Testimony from a variety of witnesses has been going on for most of the afternoon in the court of Judge Tom Greenholtz.

Bray was an employee at Moccasin Bend Mental Health Facility in September of 2015 when she struck the man as she left on her lunch break. Bray later said she thought she had hit a deer.

The jogger’s body was found in a ditch by two cyclists a short time later.
