Man shot at home in Chickamauga near school

CHICKAMAUGA, Georgia (WDEF) – The Walker County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a shooting suspect in Chickamauga.

It happened around 12:45 PM at 217 Wallaceville School Road.

A 44 year old man at the home was shot in the groin area.

He says a woman came in the house and shot him, but he doesn’t know who she is.

The victim says she fled in a silver, 4-door car.

He describes her as a slender white female, medium build, with sandy blonde hair.

Deputies say the victim was conscious at the scene before going to the hospital.
