Three people accused of trying to smuggle drugs into jail

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Three people are accused of trying to smuggle drugs into the Hamilton County Jail.

Derrick Kitchens, Megan Beatty and Jon Vance were charged with criminal conspiracy to smuggle contraband into a penal facility.

The Narcotics and Special Operations Division of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office intercepted the methamphetamine ice last week before it got in the jail.
