Mocs Spring Football Roster Features Seven Tight Ends

Chattanooga-(WDEF) One of the biggest position battles for the Mocs this spring is at tight end. Chattanooga currently features seven tight ends on the roster.
Sounds like a bunch for that position, but head coach Tom Arth says it’s really not that odd.

Said Arth:”We love the tight end position. We love the versatility of that position. I think the more dynamic that we can be at that position, the more dynamic we can be on offense. From being into a traditional twelve formation, which is usually a bigger grouping. Kind of a heavy run type of formation, but then you can also be in four open or an empty type of formation. It’s just makes you very difficult to prepare for and very difficult to play against.”
