Tyner Beats Signal Mountain to Claim Region Title

Red Bank, TN-(WDEF-TV) Tyner and Red Bank clashed for the fourth time this season on Thursday night as the Chattanooga rivals hooked up in the finals of their region tournament. Round four went to the Rams as they picked up a 59-46 victory.

Tyner built a 26-12 lead at halftime. They extended their advantage to 42-26 going to the fourth quarter. Signal Mountain cut the lead to seven before the Rams pulled away for the 13-point victory.

The Rams will now host a sub-state playoff game on Monday night, while Signal Mountain must travel.
