Sheriff: suspects arrested after dragging stolen fiber cable behind car
Cable was cut and stolen from ATT
JASPER, Tennessee (WDEF) – The Marion County Sheriff’s Department has charged two suspects with stealing fiber optic cable.
Last Thursday morning, deputies saw a Chevy Impala driving down Highway 41 with 200 feet of cable dragging behind it.
They pulled the vehicle over.
Sheriff’s officers say that ATT representatives came to the scene and verified that the cable had been cut and stolen.
Billy Joe Dill and Michael Anthony Kilgore were charged with felony theft.
