Tennessee teacher indicted for inappropriate conduct

JACKSON, Tennessee (WDEF) – A grand jury has indicted a teacher at Dyersburg High School in west Tennessee.

The TBI began investigating accusations against John Mark Moody in early March of having inappropriate relationships with multiple students.

He was indicted on charges of Solicitation of Statutory Rape by an Authority Figure, Solicitation of a Minor, Tampering with Evidence, and Coercion of a Witness.

The first year teacher was suspended as soon as the school system learned of the investigation.
