Inaugural Red Bank Weed Wrangle

RED BANK, Tennessee (WDEF)-Red bank as well as Chattanooga, Collegedale, and more participated in the Weed Wrangler.

These events had volunteers removing invasive species from overtaking the natural habitats in the area.

Red Bank Mayor Holly Berry said she’s pleased but not surprised by the great turnout.

“We are excited to participate in this event we have great volunteers out here working. You can see they’re already creating a good size brush pile for our public works to remove when they get back to work on Monday,” said Berry.
