Lookouts Open Ten Game Home Stand With 6-4 Win Over Jackson
Chattanooga-(WDEF-TV) The Chattanooga Lookouts opened a ten game home stand on Monday night with a 6-4 win over North Division leaders Jackson. The Generals scored twice in the top of the first, but Chattanooga answered with an RBI ground out from Nick Gordon in the bottom of the first. They tied the score at two in the bottom of the second on a wild pitch to score Chris Paul. The Lookouts grabbed the lead in the bottom of the third on an RBI single to third from Paul.
With the game tied at three in the bottom of the sixth, the Lookouts Alex Perez tripled with the bases loaded to score three runs as Chattanooga went on to post the 6-4 victory. They’re now 1 and-a-half games behind the Generals for first place in the Southern League North standings.
