Walk-off bunt sends SBA to Memphis for state quarterfinals

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Silverdale Baptist Academy walked off in exciting fashion against Davidson Academy Saturday as Kayleigh Page’s bunt left just enough room for Piper Brown to score the winning run in the bottom of the seventh.

SBA pitcher Maddie Tankersley struck out 12 batters and only allowed two hits in the 1-0 shutout.

The Seahawks head to Memphis to play Fayette Academy in the state quarterfinals.
