UPDATE: Chattanooga Police arrest Davis Avenue shooting suspect
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police have made an arrest in Sunday’s shooting on Davis Avenue.
Chattanooga Police say 37-year-old Jermaine Thomas was arrested and booked into the Hamilton County jail on Monday.
Police say Thomas is charged with Especially Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Assault, and Felon Carrying or Possessing a Weapon.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police have released more information on Sunday afternoon’s shooting on Davis Avenue.
According to police, officers arrived on scene to find 33-year-old Arthur Smith suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.
Police say the victim was taken to a local hospital.
Investigators with the Chattanooga Police Department determined the suspect and the victim were at a home when the suspect produced a handgun and demanded the victim give him everything.
Police say Smith was shot while struggling to get the gun from the suspect.
The Violent Crimes Bureau is investigating.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)– Chattanooga Police investigating a shooting on Davis Avenue.
It happened just before 1:00 pm.
It is unknown how many people were involved or what led up to the shooting.
One person was injured and is expected to be okay.
