Capture Chatt Offers Unique Way to Showcase Chattanooga

(WDEF) For the second straight year, the Association For Visual Arts presents an ambitious video project that gives the Chattanooga community the opportunity to express itself.
     It’s called Capture.
Through 3:00pm Saturday, anyone can upload video to the "capture" website.
It’ll then be made into three short films, complete with music scored by local bands.
This year’s theme is "Light and Shadow."
Filmmaker Denny Tedesco picks the winner.
He’ll also be screening his new documentary, "The Wrecking Crew" Friday night.
Anne Wilson serves as Executive Director of AVA.  She said, "This isn’t about the community watching something, this is about the community participating in an arts project, so it’s community art at the very best level."
Tedesco added, "You don’t have to be a musician. I lost my father, it’s about losing a father. It’s about being relevant in your later years."
