Legend of ‘Mike Honcho’ Now Reaches Vols Football Team

The Tennessee Vols must find a new kick returner this year with the departure of Velus Jones.
Special teams coach Mike Ekeler has just the man.
And this guy seems to be making the rounds on Rocky Top.

Said Ekeler:”We got several guys, and really one guy has started to step out a little bit and actually Coach ‘V’ over at baseball sent him over. It’s that Mike Honcho. Dude has just been amazing. But we’ve got a bunch of other guys that are competing for that spot though.”

Mike Honcho is the fictitious name given to Vols baseball player Jordan Beck by baseball coach Tony Vitello.
