Severe Storm Damage to Catoosa County Neighborhood

Severe weather left behind severe damage to a Catoosa County neighborhood last night.
Fire officials say at least seven homes were damaged, two of them severely.
Trees went through brick walls, windows shattered, garage doors blown in, and even the side of a roof was ripped off.
It all happened around 8:00 in the in a neighborhood near Calloway Farms.
A tornado warning was issued shortly after the damage was done.
Officials can’t confirm whether or not there was a tornado but one resident says she and her mom saw it from the interstate.
"We turned around and we saw this big funnel cloud and it was like a giant cloud and it was big and at the end it had like a tiny swirl at the bottom and it looked like it was touching the ground but it wasn’t really like on the ground completely and it was turned around and it was rotating a little," said Annabelle Duckett.
The national weather service will assess the damage Tuesday to determine if a tornado was the cause.
No injuries were reported.
