Voter Bribery Reported in Polk County

POLK COUNTY, TN (WDEF) – A Polk County woman is accused of bribing voters during Tennessee’s General Election.

Jo Ann Cronan was arrested Tuesday and charged with six counts of voter bribery.

She reportedly paid voters either cash or pills.

In return, she would get votes for certain candidates.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation led the investigation.
