FRANKLIN, Tennessee (WDEF) – U.S. Marshals now say the escaped inmate and an Alabama prison official headed north after fleeing from Florence last week.
They have found the orange 2007 Ford Edge in Williamson County just outside of Nashville.
It was found abandoned Thursday Night.
Marshals confirm it was the one that Vicky White and Casey White fled in when she checked the suspected murderer out of prison last week for a bogus mental health evaluation.
Casey Cole White was waiting to go on trial for a brutal stabbing of a 58 year old woman that could have gotten him the death penalty. Authorities say he had already confessed to committing the murder. He was already serving a 75 year sentence for a violent crime spree.
They also say that in 2015, he threatened to kill his ex-girlfriend and her sister if he ever got out and that if he escaped prison, he wanted police to kill him.
Authorities have contacted her about his escape.
Casey White is also wanted now by authorities, who believe she developed a “special relationship” with Casey White (they are not related) and schemed to help him escape.
She has sold her home, bought the getaway car and was set to retire the day after the escape.
They now are handing out new photos of her with shorter, brown hair, in case she has changed it.
Casey Cole White is a large man, 6’9″ tall and over 300 pounds.
The Marshals Service have also included these profiles of the pair, to help you pick them out if you see them.
They also warn that White could be very well armed with an AR-15 rifle, handguns and a shotgun.
The Sheriff in Lauderdale County says the pair could be anywhere in the country by now.
Anyone with information on the Whites’ location is urged to contact law enforcement. You can call the USMS Communications Center at 1-800-336-0102. Anonymous tips may also be submitted via the U.S. Marshals Tip App.
They also post that Casey White is heavily tattooed.
