1 dead, 1 critical, 1 charged in crash involving National Guard vehicle
GSP is charging Pennsylvania driver who pulled out in front of a humvee
TUNNEL HILL, Georgia (WDEF) – One person was killed and another seriously injured in a crash this morning in Catoosa County.
It happened on Highway 41 near I-75 around 8:30 AM.
Three vehicles were involved, including a National Guard vehicle.
Georgia State Troopers say a Ford Fiesta pulled onto the highway from a business and was hit by the military hummer.
The hummer then crashed through the concrete divider hitting a Chevy S-10 coming the other way.
The driver of the S-10 from Tunnel Hill was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger in the same vehicle is in critical condition.
The GSP is filing charges against the driver of the Fiesta.
21 year old Michael Bundy of Kane, Pennsylvania faces charges of 2nd degree homicide by vehicle, failure to yield right of way, and operation of an unsafe vehicle.
