Friends and Fans Mourn Loss of “Bearman”

"Many of you know Bearman was dealing with some health problems over the past couple of months. The last week Bearman had been in the hospital and was getting better and left the hospital on Wednesday. He slipped and fell early Thursday morning at his home and hit his head. He was rushed to the hospital, he went into a coma and went to be with The Lord around 10:45 p.m. Thursday night. Please keep Rosa and the family in your prayers they need them right now."

Sixty one year old Ben Martin was better known to US101 listeners of as "Bearman."
He died at his home after a fall. He had recently been hospitalized with liver disease.

"Bearman" and Ken Hicks had were the morning team at the station for more than 20 years.
