Teen thrown from ATV, killed in Dunlap

DUNLAP, Tenn. (WDEF) – A teen was killed in an ATV crash in Dunlap Saturday night.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol says the teen was not wearing a helmet.

THP says that the ATV was traveling on Harvey Cemetery Road.

Investigators believe when he lost control and exited the road.

Officials believe that he tried to get the ATV back on the pavement and over corrected and then rolled.

That’s when they say he was ejected and landed on the road.

He was transported to the hospital in Chattanooga and died.
