Georgia Quarterback Jake Fromm Breaks Non-Throwing Hand in Freak Boating Accident
Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm suffered a broken hand in a freak boating accident on Monday, but he won’t miss any workouts Dawgs head coach Kirby Smart told ESPN. Smart deemed the injury to Fromm’s non-throwing hand insignificant. Fromm took over as the Dawgs starting quarterback in their season opener when Jacob Eason went down. The true freshman wound up throwing for over 2,600 yards in leading Georgia to an SEC title and a berth in the national title game.
