Three kayakers rescued near Crossville

CROSSVILLE, Tennessee (WDEF) – The Cumberland County Rescue Squad saved three kayakers this afternoon.

They were trapped by the fast moving current of Drowning Creek.

They had to climb up trees to get above the rising water.

The Rescue Squad brought the out in rafts.

This was their second rescue of the day.

Earlier, they pulled a man and dog from a camper surrounded by flooding.
