Former Sequatchie Co Baseball Star Dakota Hudson Expected to Get Called Up By St. Louis Cardinals
Former Sequatchie Co high school baseball star Dakota Hudson has apparently punched his ticket to the big leagues. On Wednesday, Hudson was pulled from the mound in the second inning of his start for Memphis, the Triple-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals. And now Hudson is expected to join the Cardinals this weekend, where he’ll likely make his major league debut. Hudson has done well this season for Memphis. In his first 18 starts, he has posted a 13-2 record with a 2.36 ERA. Hudson was a first round draft pick by St. Louis in 2016.
