Pastor says his church is reaching more people online now than in church
CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Some churches in the Tennessee valley will use online tools to preach Easter service.
As Covid-19 continues preachers are forced to come up with new was to reach their audiences.
Local pastor Tavner Smith of Venue church is preaching his first Easter services online.
He says he and his team are adopting to the changes and understand safety is the priority.
“We’re reaching more people, you know. Where we would have three thousand people in the building on a Sunday, now were having thirty-thousand people tune in online to watch us every week. What the enemy means for evil, God means for the good. In more ways of just people tuning in, but in multiple ways he’s going to turn this around for the good.”
