Dallas Bay House Fire
Dallas Bay Volunteer Firefighters arrived to 261 Serena Drive where heavy smoke and fire was coming out of the left front side of the home. A neighbor woke the owner of the house up, who got out in time. Firefighters worked quickly to contain the fire to the garage area. They later found the home owner’s 6-year old dog unharmed.
No injuries were reported but Hamilton County EMS was on the scene for any potential injuries to firefighters. The cause of the fire is undetermined and will be under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. Damages are listed at 50-thousand dollars. Firefighters did save three antique cars and the right side of the house.
The American Red Cross is providing temporary housing.
