Georgia Welcomes Nation’s Top Recruiting Class to Start Fall Drills
Georgia coach Kirby Smart welcomed 2018’s top recruiting class to kick off fall camp on Friday in Athens. While there are high hopes for the newcomers, Smart says they need to be patient in their growth. Said Smart:”We watched a tape last night of Reuben Foster hitting Leonard Fournette his freshman year. Trent Richardson making a tackle on kickoff his freshman year. Sony Michel making a tackle against Clemson his freshman year. There were two common themes from every back we showed. All four went in the first round. None started their freshman year. And all of them are on special teams.”
