Let’s Eat! Rainbow Veggie Pizza
Ingredients:
- Whole Wheat English Muffin
- Food Club Traditional Style Pizza Sauce (DP, HH)
- Food Club Reduced Fat Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- Mushrooms
- Chopped Yellow Bell Peppers
- Chopped Broccoli
- Grated carrots
- Cherry tomatoes, halved
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spread 1 tablespoon pizza sauce over English muffin half and top each with 2 tablespoons of cheese. Arrange toppings as desired. Bake in preheated oven for 8-10 minutes.
Turkey Cheddar Apple Pita
- Whole Wheat Pita Bread
- 2 ounces Dietz and Watson turkey breast
- 11/2 ounces cheddar cheese
- ½ apple, sliced
- Handful of spinach
Instructions:
Cut pita in half and open. Fill pita with sliced turkey, cheddar cheese, apple slices and a handful of spinach. Optional: spread light mayonnaise, mustard or hummus in pita prior to filling.
