Marion Co Senior RB Alex Condra Out For the Year With Knee Injury

Jasper, TN-(WDEF-TV) Tough news for the Marion County football team on Wednesday. They learned that senior running back Alex Condra will be out for the year after injuring his knee last Friday against Sequatchie Co. Condra was already off to a fast start for the Warriors. He had a long touchdown run against Sequatchie Co,

and he rushed for 146 yards in the Warriors season opening win over Grundy Co. Condra is a three sport star at Marion County. His team plans to rally around him the rest of the season.

Said Marion Co head coach Tim Starkey:”Actually had some kids before we came out here for the practice today saying ‘what would 2 do.’ They know that he’s a super leader on this team, he’s a kid on this team is gonna be greatly missed but he’s still gonna be able to help us teammates prepare throughout the week because he does that guy. So what would 2 do?”

Marion Co visits Tyner on Friday night in a key region showdown.
