McCallie Football preparing for another Tennessee State title rematch

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee (WDEF)- Week three of the Tennessee high school football schedule features a TSSAA state championship game rematch between McCallie and MBA .

For the Blue Tornado, the win was the program’s third consecutive title under coach Ralph Potter and completed a season sweep of the Big Red.

Now McCallie is facing MBA again this year, in what could potentially be another state title finals match up.

coach Potter says  it feels like they were just playing MBA.

“Feel like we should get credit for beating them twice last year. Just seems like yesterday we were playing them. We played MBA had two games and now were playing them again. They’ve got a great team and pretty much they are all back. it will be a great challenge,” said Potter.
