My Best Me Health Tip – How To Tell the Good Carbs From the Bad
Carbohydrates are often divided between simple carbs and complex carbs. One is good for you while the other is not.
Simple carbs are man-made like pasta, bread, doughnuts, or sodas. Simple carbs have no nutritional value. They don’t have vitamins and can spike your insulin levels. If you eat too much of those carbs, they will convert to fat and cause weight gain.
Complex carbohydrates are natural like rice, corn, fruits or some vegetables. These complex carbs are good for you and is where you should focus your diet.
