Titans Lose All Pro Pass Rusher Harold Landry Right Before the Season Opener

What a bummer for the Titans. The week before their season opener against the New York Giants, and veteran pass rusher Harold Landry is out for the year after suffering a knee injury in practice. Landry was a Pro Bowler last year, who Titan’ed Up with 12 sacks last season.

Said head coach Mike Vrabel:”It’s unfortunate. It’s disappointing. Feel terrible obviously for Harold. Then the work that he has put in. His value to our football team. We have to move on and get everybody ready to go win.”
Said safety Kevin Byard:”God works in mysterious ways. We never know in these type of moments why these things happen. Like I said it’s just unfortunate. I’m going to reach out to him to make sure that he’s good mentally.”
