Dalton Traffic Fatality
Dalton, GA (WDEF) A Tunnel Hill man dies after being hit by an SUV Tuesday.
Dalton Police say 22-year-old Jacob Minjariz ran in from of the vehicle while he was trying to cross Shugart Road.
Emergency crews took him to the hospital, but he was pronounced dead.
Officials say the driver was not speeding and did not have time to stop.
No charges will be filed against the driver.
